Companionship is a huge benefit of modern societies relationship with domesticated animals.

Humans have relied on animals for hundreds of years for food, clothing and transport.

Now domesticated pets rely heavily on humans for food, transportation and shelter. Have you considered what the diet you feed your companion is doing to their health? How about the quality of environment you have given them (is there fresh water available and dry, clean bedding)?

History has changed the landscape we live in and how we interact with the living (animals included).

Isn't it time to rethink how we do things?
